Country apartments in Tuscany on Chianti hills - Canonica a Cerreto
We have three apartments, all from the old Canonica (Rectory) where monks used to reside. They are a testimony to history, but are equipped with everything a modern traveler would require. Each apartment has, for instance, a large, fully-equipped kitchen, and wireless access to Internet.
A swimming pool with a view of Siena is at the disposal of the guests.
Canonica a Cerreto, in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and 380 meters above sea level,
is blessed with a superb climate, and is the starting point for innumerable trips and visits to
historical towns and cities. For instance: Siena is only 12 km away, Florence 70 km. Within a half hour's drive one can visit, among others, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Radda, Castellina, San Gimignano, the Sienese Crete (clay hills) Pienza, Montalcino, and Rapolano. There are numerous nearby restaurants serving typical local dishes and Tuscan wines.
During the high season the minimum stay is 7 nights, from one Saturday to the next.
Otherwise it is possible to stay only three nights.
The Church is available for small weddings, and the property's wines and olive oil are available for purchase.
